Hi Everyone!
You may have picked up that I have not written a blog in a while. There has been lots of different things going on at home. I have also been praying about my writing and blog and I came to some realizations.
1) It is a passion from God.
God has definitely given me a passion to write. Everywhere I go I see blog posts in my head or ideas for things to write on. Over the years it flares and fades but it has never gone away. Therefore I can conclude that in some way and some time He wants to use this passion.
2) God’s timing is not ours
One thing He has made abundantly clear to us in the last 2 months is that His timing is not ours. We have a plan, a goal, an idea of what our life is and He comes along and shakes it all up. We are called to be obedient and to listen and ever so gently and subtly and sometimes very obviously, He shows us the way He wants us to go.
3) The time is not now
Because I have been feeling loads of passion for writing recently and because I love it so much, I was sure the time was now. I desperately wanted the time to be now. So I have been working hard on blogging and researching blogging and how and what to do. I have been putting so much pressure on myself to get posts out and tried very hard to make them quality, researched posts.
BUT
I have finally acknowledged that still small voice telling me it is not the time.
SO
I will only post a blog very occassionally as I feel very strongly about soemthing. I won’t pressure myself to write once a week or once a fortnight. My Facebook page is still active and I will keep posting short notes there at least weekly. When the time is right, God will show me and I will blog regularly again. I look forward to it!
