This has been a rough week for me. I have felt overwhelmed and have sobbed on numerous occasions. On one such occasion I was on youtube listening to songs. All I could remember was the line ‘the joy of the Lord is our strength’. I put it in the search bar and found the song. As I listened to it, repeatedly, I grew more peaceful.
When we feel like we are at the end of our rope; when we cannot carry on; when we have no strength left; let us listen to these words and take heart. His joy is our strength. And He never changes, the earth is filled with His glory, He is the same. Our hope is in Him and we can trust in that.
